2. Player Registration and Eligibility
- Registrations close on week 8
- Players have until week #5 to change teams. If a player plays ON week #5, they cannot switch teams and has to play with the team they last played with.
- Players can only play in ONE division on Sundays. Violations result in a forfeit and 5 game suspension.
- Expulsions: $40 fine for red cards; players expelled for two yellow cards can play after paying a $30 fine. Three red card expulsions disqualify the player for the rest of the tournament.
- Players can play with an ID or other credential (name and photo); for the first two games.
- Players must have credentials by the 3rd game or use a $5 temporary pass (valid for one game). If a player with a pass wants to play for another team, they must rest a game before switching teams.
- Temporary passes can be used until week #5
- Players play at their own risk. Minors must have parental permission to participate.
3. Game Rules and Play
- Sundays: No additional benefits for league table after a tie; only applies to the playoffs.
- Game duration: 40 minutes (Over-40), 40 minutes (Sun), and 25 minutes (7vs7) with 15-minute extensions if both teams request. Time is deducted from the total.
- For a team to win by forfeit, they must have 7 players with credentials on the field before the requested extension ends.
- Check rosters for goals, yellow & red cards. Turn into the ref at the end of the game. If not submitted, goals won’t be counted.
- The league relies on player ids to count each game, not rosters. Make sure to hand them all in.
- Playing without credentials: If both teams agree, the match is valid; no protests can be made to the league about this.
- If a team forgets credentials, they can play the first half with an ID. Before the second half, they must show their credentials. Failure to do so results in a forfeit. (This rule doesn’t apply in the playoffs.)
4. Player Conduct and Disciplinary Actions
- Players with earrings must remove them before the game. The league is not responsible for any injuries.
- If there is a fight or player assault during the match, the game is terminated, and the team responsible loses the match.
- Teams responsible for fights on the field are fined $500 and can be expelled from the league after repeated offenses.
- Teams drinking on the field will be expelled, fined $500, and players involved cannot play until the fine is paid.
- If a fight or brawl occurs and a team’s fans or players get involved, that team loses the game.
- If a player assaults a referee, they are permanently banned from the league, and the team automatically loses the game. The incident may be reported to authorities.
5. Field and Equipment Regulations
- The home team has priority in uniform selection. The away team must change or wear bibs.
- Uniforms must be identical (no jersey sharing).
- The goalkeeper must have a number.
- All players on a team must wear matching jerseys and shorts, including color, logo, and design. Failure to comply may result in a forfeit.
6. Protests and Disputes
- If a team wishes to protest a match, they must inform the referee during or at the end of the game. If not, the protest is not valid.
- If a fan group invades the field during a game, the opposing team has the right to protest.
- If fans insult opposing players and refuse to leave when instructed, the referee will end the game and the team will lose.
7. General Responsibilities
